guiding the ships back to safety.
Illuminated across the waters,
through the stormy raging sea.

It's strength sometimes seems so distant,
but draws you near with the light it casts.
A softened precious glow.
A form of impressionism that lasts.

There are people who share in this light,
we embrace within their safety.
Comforting and sharing special moments.
Through tears sometimes they are hard to see.

Their strength sometimes seems so far away,
